GEO certification was obtained by Golf Club Vuissens in 2022. We really care about our environment and want to include good environmental practices. in our day to day basis. Climate issues have a real impact on the game of golf and we must adapt to it. Our greenkeeping team takes these issues very seriously! Here are a few examples of measures implemented here at Golf Club Vuissens:
- Installation of nesting boxes and perches
- Creation of refuge and food areas for insects/amphibians/birds
- Renovation of the watering system
- Localized watering on the course
- Reduction of irrigation water consumption during periods of drought
- Reduction of phytosanitary effluents
